I’m Very VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED with our current Government….. Every one knows that Lynas Corporation have been approved to operate in Malaysia, processing rare earth material. These government/politician, keep saying that the radioactive waste have no harm to human being. HELLO!!!! you think we are 3 years old kids? Its the government people really that stupid, of they thought we are stupid. Again and Again I would like to emphasize, that this is all about the government’s trick in doing business, wanting to make more and more money out of this trade. These Lynas people kept saying that they are safe, friendly to the environment and tons of nonsense. Have you seen this video about CHINA, on how these people suffer from the radiation that was not well treated? if you have not seen it, here you go.
Look at these leading economic country, they have so much land, so much space and more over so much financial resources, they can’t even treat the waste properly, resulting citizens around suffering from cancer due to radiation. What more I can say for our country which is so many times smaller and resources is much lesser that what they have there in China.
We at AH Band, will never compromise, Never Tolerate, Never Say Yes to these corporation who will bring to mankind much trouble and complications in years down the Lane. I’m very very disappointed with our current government that allows such industry to operate here in our country. We gather music specialist and us, Video making specialist, came together to create such music to remind, people of their next generation, to motivate people to not to fear about voicing out your own perspective and point of view. We are no POLITICIAN, we are just an ordinary citizen who loves our country and people. We are just human being that CARES for our next generation. We are just as Ordinary as you. I pity you and people who dont understand the issues regarding all industry.
Petronas are polluting 1000 times more waste than Lynas ever will.
Also your coal fired power plants IN MALAYSIA, emit 5000 tons per year of radiactive waste.
Are you complaining about them? or just Lynas.
The rare earth material is used to benefit the environment, benefit technology such as mobile phones, plasma Tv and computers and it will also bring Malaysia out of the developing workd and into the developed world creating higher standard of living for Malaysians.
But iof you dont understand, if you dont "get it" then you can just keep you head in the samd.
I hope you publish this on your blog to show others to be more informed, but probably you will not and keep being ignorant.
I can't change your opinion on anything. I can only give you advice and research for you to understand , then your opinion will change.
Lynas will be operating soon and this will all go away because Anti-Lynas campaign is flawed.
In Australia we are building a much bigger rare earth plant, its in a major town at Whyalla, and no-one is complaining or protesting. Do you know why?? because we are not ignorant monkeys.
